The Lincoln-Way Central Knights the host St. Charles North North Stars softball squad by a count of 4-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights meet the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban challenge, on Friday, May 9. Lincoln-Way Central will attempt to upgrade on its 21-1 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 12-2 league loss to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL).
The North Stars (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 19-4 record. In their last challenge, Edwardsville held off Alton (Alton, IL), 11-0, in a league challenge.
