Livonia Bulldogs (Livonia, NY) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Naples Big Green Machines (Naples, NY), 10-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Livonia upgrades its record to 5-7 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Wayland-Cohocton (Wayland, NY) to play the Eagles in a Livingston County Division I game on Friday, May 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Wayland-Cohocton won 10-0 in their recent league bout against Hornell (Hornell, NY)

In their next game, the Big Green Machines battle the South Seneca Falcons (Ovid, NY) in a Finger Lakes West bout, on Friday, May 9. Naples will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 15-0 league win over Red Jacket (Shortsville, NY).
