In Thursday's non-league test, the Northern York Polar Bears (Dillsburg, PA) softball squad got by the visiting Mechanicsburg Wildcats (Mechanicsburg, PA), by a tally of 4-3.
Next, the Polar Bears clash with the Carlisle Thundering Herd (Carlisle, PA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 10. Northern York will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record. The Thundering Herd go into the test with a 12-3 record after their 16-1 league win over Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA).
The Wildcats (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Northeastern (Manchester, PA). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 2-12 record. In their last battle, Northeastern was tipped by Central York (York, PA), 21-3, in a non-league battle.
