The Windom Eagles softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Springfield Tigers to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.
The Eagles now possess a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pipestone for a South Central battle on Tuesday, May 13. Windom will confront a Arrows team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, MN). The Arrows record now stands at 9-8.
With the loss, Springfield moves to 4-14 on the season. The Tigers travel to New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN) to confront the Greyhounds in a Tomahawk battle on Monday, May 12.
