Ohio High School Softball - Western Reserve sneaks past St. Mary Central Catholic

The Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH) softball nipped the host St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers (Sandusky, OH), 3-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Roughriders now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroeville for a Firelands outing on Friday, May 9. Western Reserve will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 8-7 league win over St. Paul (Norwalk, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 18-2.
With the loss, St. Mary Central Catholic moves to 0-20 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hopewell-Loudon (Bascom, OH) to encounter the Chieftains in a Sandusky Bay - River outing on Friday, May 9. The Chieftains come into the outing with a record of 13-8. Hopewell-Loudon lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH)
