Kentucky High School Baseball - Bath County nips Lewis County

The Bath County Wildcats baseball team scored 1 runs and held the visiting Lewis County Lions to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now own a 15-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Menifee County for a District 61 test on Saturday, May 9. Bath County will play a Wildcats team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Lee County (Beattyville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-16.

With the defeat, Lewis County drops to 7-22 on the year. The Lions travel to Bourbon County (Paris, KY) to play the Colonels in a non-league test on Saturday, May 9. The Colonels go into the test with a record of 17-14. Bourbon County lost 5-0 in their recent league test against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY)
