Ohio High School Baseball - Defiance holds off Bryan

The Defiance Bulldogs baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Bryan Golden Bears to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Friday.

The Bulldogs now hold a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host Olentangy Berlin for a non-league test on Saturday, May 9. Defiance will play a Bears team coming off a 8-5 league win over Dublin Jerome (Dublin, OH). The Bears record now stands at 14-5.

With the defeat, Bryan drops to 10-8 on the year. The Golden bears travel to Wauseon (Wauseon, OH) to confront the Indians in a Northwest Ohio match on Saturday, May 9. The Indians come into the match with a record of 5-6. Wauseon won 6-4 in their recent non-league match against Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH)
