The Henry County Wildcats baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Shelby County Rockets to 1 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now hold a 14-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newport for a non-league test on Saturday, May 9. Henry County will play a Wildcats team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-21.

With the defeat, Shelby County drops to 2-16 on the year. The Rockets travel to Western Hills (Frankfort, KY) to play the Wolverines in a non-league test on Saturday, May 9. The Wolverines go into the test with a record of 10-19. Western Hills won 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Woodford County (Versailles, KY)
