Minnesota High School Baseball - St. Charles defeats Montevideo

The St. Charles Saints (St. Charles, MN) baseball trounced the visiting Montevideo Thunderhawks (Montevideo, MN), 10-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Saints now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Lake City for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 9. St. Charles will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 4-3 league win over Stewartville (Stewartville, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 10-5.

With the defeat, Montevideo drops to 11-3 on the year. The Thunderhawks host Mankato East (Mankato, MN) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 9. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Mankato East lost 6-1 in their recent league challenge against Mankato West (Mankato, MN)
