In Friday's non-league test, the Northwest Indians (Canal Fulton, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cloverleaf Colts (Lodi, OH), by a tally of 14-7.

Next, the Indians clash with the Tuslaw Mustangs (Massillon, OH) in a Principals Athletic test, on Monday, May 11. Northwest will attempt to advance on its 11-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 17-5 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Hoover (North Canton, OH).

The Colts (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH). The Rockets go into the Metro Athletic Conference test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Streetsboro held off Woodridge (Peninsula, OH), 15-5, in a league test.
