New Jersey High School Softball - Metuchen bounces Dunellen

In Friday's non-league match, the host Metuchen Bulldogs softball team scored a nice 17-7 victory over the Dunellen Destroyers.

The Bulldogs (11-8) will now prepare for their match against Highland Park (Highland Park, NJ). The Owls go into the non-league match with a 11-8 record. In their last match, Highland Park was routed by South Amboy (South Amboy, NJ), 8-7, in a league match.

In their next game, the Destroyers battle the Somerville Pioneers (Somerville, NJ) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 11. Dunellen will attempt to better on its 13-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the match with a 11-6 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Lawrence (Lawrenceville, NJ).
