The Edison Eagles softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Old Bridge Knights to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sayreville for a non-league battle on Monday, May 11. Edison will confront a Bombers team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ). The Bombers record now stands at 18-1.

With the loss, Old Bridge moves to 7-16 on the season. The Knights travel to North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ) to confront the Raiders in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 9. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 9-12. North Brunswick won 14-2 in their recent non-league battle against East Brunswick Vo-Tech (East Brunswick, NJ)
