Stevens Raiders (Rapid City, SD) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD), 17-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Stevens improves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Raiders travel to Yankton (Yankton, SD) to play the Bucks/Gazelles in a Class AA game on Friday, May 8. The Bucks/Gazelles enter the game with a record of 3-5.

The Kernels now hold a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Sturgis Brown for a Class AA game on Saturday, May 9.
