The Lakeland Thunderbirds baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Ashland Oredockers to 1 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Monday.
The Thunderbirds (2-7) will now prepare for their match against D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI). The Evergreens go into the non-league match with a 4-3 record.
The Oredockers (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Cameron (Cameron, WI). The Comets go into the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Cameron was overwhelmed by Northwestern (Maple, WI), 15-1, in a league match.
