The Edgewood Mustangs baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Mitchell Bluejackets to 3 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Monday.
The Mustangs (10-9) will now prepare for their match against Owen Valley (Spencer, IN). The Patriots go into the Western Indiana match with a 11-3 record. In their last match, Owen Valley was overwhelmed by Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN), 9-0, in a non-league match.
The Bluejackets (13-6) will now prepare for their match against Brownstown Central (Brownstown, IN). The Braves go into the non-league match with a 8-7 record. In their last match, Brownstown Central edged Corydon Central (Corydon, IN), 5-2, in a league match.
