The Leavenworth PIONEERS baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Shawnee Mission North Bison to 4 in the PIONEERS non-league victory on Monday.

The PIONEERS (7-10) will now prepare for their match against Wyandotte (Kansas City, KS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 6-12 record. In their last match, Wyandotte was overwhelmed by Atchison (Atchison, KS), 10-0, in a non-league match.

The Bison (4-13) will now prepare for their match against Shawnee Mission South (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 3-11 record. In their last match, Shawnee Mission South was overwhelmed by Olathe East (Olathe, KS), 5-4, in a non-league match.
