The Lyons Lions lacrosse squad (LaGrange, IL), was overwhelmed 16-9 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL)

Coming up next, the Porters meet the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) in a Southwest Prarie challenge, on Wednesday, May 11. Lockport will attempt to improve on its 18-0 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 15-13 non-league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL).

The Lions now sport a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Park-River Forest for a West Suburban challenge on Thursday, May 12. Lyons will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 16-2 league win over Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 7-8.
