Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Westbrook Blue Blazes (Westbrook, ME), 18-2 in a non-league battle.
The Spartans now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wells for a non-league battle on Monday, May 16.
In their next game, the Blue Blazes clash with the Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 11. Westbrook will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record.
