The Alexandria-Monroe Tigers softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Taylor Titans to 11 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Alexandria-Monroe moves its record to 3-9 on the year. The Tigers host Elwood (Elwood, IN) to clash with the Panthers in a Central Indiana game on Thursday, May 12. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 11-6. Elwood won 7-6 in their recent non-league game against Noblesville (Noblesville, IN)

In their next game, the Titans clash with the Carroll Cougars (Flora, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland game, on Tuesday, May 10. Taylor will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 7-7 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Tri-County (Wolcott, IN).
