Tri-City/Sangamon Valley Storm (Niantic, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Argenta-Oreana Bombers (Argenta, IL), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Storm now sport a 20-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nokomis for a MSM challenge on Wednesday, May 11. Tri-City/Sangamon Valley will face a Redskins squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly (New Berlin, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 12-12.

With the loss, Argenta-Oreana falls to 13-8 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL) to face the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 11. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 15-9. Warrensburg-Latham won 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Clinton (Clinton, IL)
