In Monday's league challenge, the host Ellington Knights softball squad scored a tight 10-4 win over the Windsor Locks Raiders.

The Knights now sport a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host Granby Memorial for a North Central Connecticut challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Ellington will face a Bears squad coming off a 14-8 league loss to Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT). The Bears record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Windsor Locks falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Suffield (West Suffield, CT) to face the Wildcats in a North Central Connecticut challenge on Tuesday, May 10. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-9. Suffield lost 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT)
