The York Wildcats routed the visiting Gray-New Gloucester Patriots softball squad by a count of 17-1 in Monday's league battle.
The Wildcats (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Greely (Cumberland Center, ME). The Rangers go into the Class B South battle with a 1-2 record.
The Patriots now sport a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Yarmouth for a Class B South battle on Wednesday, May 11. Gray-New Gloucester will confront a Clippers squad coming off a 16-4 league loss to Poland (Poland, ME). The Clippers record now stands at 0-5.
