The Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) softball routed the visiting Harvard Ellis Tech Eagles (Killingly, CT), 11-6 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (5-7) will now prepare for their bout against Stonington (Stonington, CT). The Bears go into the non-league bout with a 9-3 record. In their last bout, Stonington held off Windham (Willimantic, CT), 13-4, in a non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Tourtellotte for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 10. Harvard Ellis Tech will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 0-12.
