Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Marion Giants (Marion, IN), 18-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildkats now own a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carmel for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 11. Kokomo will battle a Greyhounds squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Center Grove (Greenwood, IN). The Greyhounds record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Marion falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Giants travel to Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 14-6. Tippecanoe Valley won 10-2 in their recent league challenge against Southwood (Wabash, IN)
