Lakeside Lutheran Warriors (Lake Mills, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Marshall Cardinals (Marshall, WI), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lodi for a Capitol - North challenge on Tuesday, May 10.

With the loss, Marshall falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Belleville (Belleville, WI) to battle the Wildcats in a Capitol - South challenge on Friday, May 13. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-9.
