The Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Stanwood Spartans to 7 in the Tomahawks league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Marysville-Pilchuck improves its record to 7-11 on the year. The Tomahawks travel to Cedarcrest (Duvall, WA) to clash with the Red Wolves in a 2A/3A Wesco game on Tuesday, May 10. The Red Wolves come into the game with a record of 8-9. Cedarcrest won 14-3 in their recent league game against Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats (Everett, WA) in a 2A/3A Wesco game, on Tuesday, May 10. Stanwood will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 2-13 record after their 18-2 league loss to Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA).
