Delaware High School Softball - Padua Academy nudges Polytech

Padua Academy (Wilmington, DE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilmington Charter for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. Padua Academy will battle a Force squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE). The Force record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Polytech falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Seaford (Seaford, DE) to battle the Bluejays in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 10. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a record of 1-3.
