Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Traders Point Christian Knights (Whitestown, IN), 19-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Blackhawks now own a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they host Tri-Central for a Hoosier Heartland challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Sheridan will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 16-8 non-league loss to Taylor (Kokomo, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Traders Point Christian falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Indiana School for the Deaf (Indianapolis, IN) to battle the Deaf Hoosiers in a Freelance challenge on Wednesday, May 11. The Deaf Hoosiers enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Indiana School for the Deaf lost 10-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Greenwood Christian Academy (Greenwood, IN)
