The Marist RedHawks baseball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Andrew Thunderbolts to 1 in the RedHawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The RedHawks (12-10) will now prepare for their match against Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Corsairs go into the East Suburban Catholic match with a 11-13 record. In their last match, Carmel was edged by Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL), 6-0, in a league match.
The Thunderbolts (14-10) will now prepare for their match against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Boilermakers go into the Southwest Suburban - Red match with a 12-9 record. In their last match, Bradley-Bourbonnais was edged by Andrew (Tinley Park, IL), 8-2, in a league match.
