North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, North Davidson upgrades its record to 15-10 on the season. The Black Knights travel to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, May 12. The Indians come into the test with a record of 20-4. St. Stephens won 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC)

With the defeat, Rockingham County falls to 17-8 on the season.
