The South Knox Spartans baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting North Daviess Cougars to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Spartans (15-4) will now prepare for their match against Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Lawrenceville held off Vincennes Rivet (Vincennes, IN), 9-0, in a non-league contest.

The Cougars now sport a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they host North Central for a Southwestern Indiana contest on Thursday, May 11. North Daviess will play a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Dugger Union (Dugger, IN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 5-11.
