The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL) and the host Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL), saw Downers Grove South's volleyball squad beat Proviso East by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Downers Grove South upgrades its record to 22-9 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, May 15. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 13-16. Neuqua Valley won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL)

The Pirates now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they travel to Proviso West for a West Suburban bout on Wednesday, May 10. Proviso East will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to York (Elmhurst, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-18.
