Roosevelt Presidents (Hyde Park, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY), 9-5 in a non-league test.

The Presidents now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host Red Hook for a non-league test on Thursday, May 11. Roosevelt will face a Raiders squad coming off a 9-8 league win over New Paltz (New Paltz, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 1-7.

In their next game, the Middie Bears face the Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY) in a Section 9 A Division I test, on Tuesday, May 16. Middletown will attempt to move on its 0-13 season record.
