The Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), 17-12 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Wake Forest upgrades its record to 20-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league outing on Friday, May 12. The Crusaders go into the outing with a record of 18-2. Cardinal Gibbons won 26-7 in their recent non-league outing against Apex Friendship (Apex, NC)
With the defeat, Pinecrest drops to 13-3 on the season.
