Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Belvidere Bucs (Belvidere, IL), 7-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians face the Rockford Auburn Knights (Rockford, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 challenge, on Thursday, May 11. Hononegah will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 1-17 record after their 5-1 league loss to Jefferson (Rockford, IL).

The Bucs now have a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they host Harlem for a Northern Illinois NIC-10 challenge on Thursday, May 11. Belvidere will face a Huskies team coming off a 8-1 league loss to Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 4-9.
