With the loss, Lakeland drops to 4-9 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) to meet the Hornets in a Southeastern test on Thursday, May 11. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 8-4. Deep Creek lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA)
