The Albemarle Patriots lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights to 1 in the Patriots league win on Tuesday.

The Patriots (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 0-11 record. In their last game, Goochland was overwhelmed by Monticello (Charlottesville, VA), 15-4, in a non-league game.

The Black Knights (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets go into the Jefferson game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Orange County prevailed over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA), 16-14, in a league game.
