The Leesville Road Pride lacrosse squad (Raleigh, NC), was edged 11-9 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC)

Coming up next, the Pirates confront the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 12. Topsail will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 20-1 record after their 17-6 non-league win over Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC).

The Pride now sport a 11-10 record.
