Patchogue-Medford Raiders (Medford, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host Walt Whitman Wildcats (Huntington Station, NY), 6-5 in a league test.

The Raiders now have a 4-5 record.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the William Floyd Colonials (Mastic Beach, NY) in a Section 11 I test, on Friday, May 12. Walt Whitman will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Colonials come into the test with a 2-6 record after their 14-6 non-league loss to Southampton (Southampton, NY).
