Indiana High School Softball - Caston bounces Winamac

The Caston Comets routed the host Winamac Warriors softball squad by a final score of 17-3 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Comets (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Triton (Bourbon, IN). The Trojans go into the Hoosier North battle with a 2-16 record. In their last battle, Triton was routed by North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN), 6-0, in a league battle.

The Warriors now possess a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to Carroll for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 11. Winamac will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Clinton Central (Michigantown, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 14-5.
