The Edsel Ford Thunderbirds softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Crestwood Chargers to 2 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Edsel Ford moves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI) to clash with the Bears in a Downriver game on Wednesday, May 10. The Bears come into the game with a record of 6-10. Roosevelt won 9-2 in their recent league game against Taylor (Taylor, MI)
In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Robichaud Bulldogs (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a Western Wayne game, on Wednesday, May 10. Crestwood will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
