Crown Point Panthers (Crown Point, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Wells Indians (Wells, NY), 27-5 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bolton/Schroon Lake for a Section 7 Mountain Valley challenge on Thursday, May 11. Crown Point will face a Wild Eagles squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Indian Lake Central (Indian Lake, NY). The Wild Eagles record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Wells falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Boquet Valley (Elizabethtown, NY) to face the Griffins in a Section 7 Mountain Valley challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Griffins enter the challenge with a record of 8-1. Boquet Valley won 12-7 in their recent league challenge against Chazy (Chazy, NY)
