St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Danville Vikings (Danville, IL), 20-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 24-9 record. They take the field next when they host Charleston for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. St. Joseph-Ogden will face a Trojans squad coming off a 11-6 non-league win over Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 19-5.

With the loss, Danville falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Urbana (Urbana, IL) to face the Tigers in a Big Twelve challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 5-19. Urbana lost 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Centennial (Champaign, IL)
