Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA), 20-2 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Godwin for a Colonial challenge on Thursday, May 11. Deep Run will face a Eagles squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, John Marshall falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Justices travel to Petersburg (Petersburg, VA) to face the Crimson Wave in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 15. The Crimson Wave enter the challenge with a record of 3-14. Petersburg lost 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA)
