North Carolina High School Softball - Elkin bounces Hiwassee Dam

The Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) softball routed the host Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC), 6-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Buckin' Elks (12-8) will now prepare for their bout against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Black Knights go into the non-league bout with a 18-4 record. In their last bout, Robbinsville held off Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC), 13-2, in a non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 12-7 record.

This game is a part of the 2023 NCHSAA Softball Championships - 1A tournament
