Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) and the visiting Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL), witnessed Lincoln's softball squad tip Pontiac by a count of 2-1.

The Railsplitters now sport a 17-14 record. They play next when they travel to MacArthur for a non-league match on Monday, May 15. Lincoln will meet a Generals squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over St. Teresa (Decatur, IL). The Generals record now stands at 6-20.

With the loss, Pontiac moves to 18-11 on the season. The Indians travel to Moline (Moline, IL) to meet the Maroons in a non-league match on Friday, May 12. The Maroons go into the match with a record of 13-12. Moline won 6-5 in their recent league match against East Moline United (East Moline, IL)
