The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans softball squad scored 5 runs and restricted the visiting Taylorville Tornadoes to 1 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Trojans (18-10) will now prepare for their battle against Meridian (Macon, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league battle with a 19-9 record. In their last battle, Meridian was routed by Williamsville (Williamsville, IL), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
