Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME), 27-3 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Blue for a Class A North challenge on Wednesday, May 10. Oxford Hills will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 13-2 league loss to Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Mt. Ararat falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Wells (Wells, ME) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. Wells won 18-4 in their recent league challenge against Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME)
