The Mt. Carmel Golden Aces softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Washington Hatchets to 4 in the Golden Aces non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Mt. Carmel improves its record to 15-8 on the year. The Golden Aces travel to Robinson (Robinson, IL) to clash with the Maroons in a Little Illini game on Wednesday, May 10. The Maroons come into the game with a record of 14-8. Robinson won 16-1 in their recent non-league game against Martinsville (Martinsville, IL)

In their next game, the Hatchets clash with the Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 11. Washington will attempt to improve on its 1-16 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 18-3 record after their 10-0 league win over North Knox (Bicknell, IN).
