Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Peoria Lions (Peoria, IL), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Ironmen now own a 13-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olympia for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. Normal Community will face a Spartans squad coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 20-5.

With the loss, Peoria falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Manual (Peoria, IL) to face the Rams in a Big Twelve challenge on Tuesday, May 16. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 0-10. Manual lost 16-1 in their recent league challenge against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL)
